Safety Program
For each project Young builds, safety is incorporated into every step of the construction cycle. Our safety program is one of the most advanced in the construction industry. Site personnel receive routine training on the latest regulations and safe practice techniques so that appropriate precautions are taken to ensure a safe environment. Scheduled and random site audits by internal auditors as well as an independent firm keep Young personnel and subcontractors keen on safety.
We are repeatedly recognized for our safe practices. In 2008, The Georgia Branch of the Associated General Contractors of America presented Young with its “No Lost Time Accidents” Award, the company’s fourth consecutive award. In addition, we were recognized for working over 50,000 hours in 2008 without an accident. Safety is also important to our employees. Our associates are recognized on a quarterly basis for their commitment and leadership in safe practices. We take pride in keeping our work sites safe, saving time and money and, most importantly, protecting the well-being of everyone on-site.
Green Building Program
We build smartly – it’s always safe and sometimes it’s green. We believe in sustainability, in minimizing the building impact on our environment. Warranty Program
Even when construction is complete, we continue to build. Our Warranty Program extends our relationship and supports clients even after we hand over the keys. If repairs are needed within the first year, our team of professionals will arrange labor and coordinate schedules to minimize disruptions and accommodate needs. We proudly stand behind every project, because we know it’s a job done right.
