Safety is incorporated into every step of the construction process on every project Young Contracting builds. Our safety program is one of the most advanced in the construction industry. Our field personnel receive routine training on the latest regulations and safe practice techniques to ensure a safe environment on every jobsite, every day. Scheduled and random site audits are performed by internal auditors and independent firms to keep our personnel and subcontractors keen on safety.

For 27 years, Young Contracting has been recognized by the Associated General Contractors of America and Associated General Contractors of Georgia for our exceptional safety program. We strive to make our safety and health efforts so successful that the elimination of accidents and injuries are not just a goal, but a way of life. AGC Georgia first presented our Superintendents with the inaugural Ron Amerson Certificate of Commendation for Safety Excellence for No Lost Time Accidents in 2000 and they have been recognized with this award annually ever since.

We were also recognized for excellence in safety in 2005 when we received the CHASE Partner Award for Blue Level participation in Construction Health and Safety Excellence Program. Young Contracting is one of only two contractors in Georgia to receive this recognition.
